Financial assistance to Laredo College (LC) students with emergencies.
What is the Student Emergency Fund?
The student Emergency Fund offers limited emergency financial assistance to LC students with unexpected hardships or emergencies that occur during the semester. This fund is available each year through the Interlocal Agreement between Laredo College and the Laredo Housing Authority. The funds serve to off-set short term financial needs and is not a replacement for or supplement to financial aid. This assistance is not considered a loan and does not require repayment.
How much money can I receive?
The maximum annual award is based on the availability of funds. Funds are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Emergency funds are used to pay the vendor/provider directly, not the student.
